After denying him a hunting rifle in Walmart’s sporting goods section, disgruntled white child Tanner Cooper is about to give him mom a taste of what it means to be white.
“Get me the fucking gun, mom, I’m serious,” Tanner threaten. “I don’t want to have to tell day about the UPS guy.”
Not backing down to a 9 year old, Kayleigha Cooper strikes back.
“Go ahead and try,” Kayleigha said. “He won’t believe you since you got us all a lifetime ban from Six Flags for saying Bugs Bunny molested you.”
Cooking, Tanner paces the bullet aisle, occasionally picking up a box and examining it in anger. With a quick turn her throws one at his mother’s head. It hits her face as bullets spill on the floor.
“Tanner Kyle Cooper,” she said. “You’re going to time out when you get home. And I’m telling your father there will be no Xbox for a week.”
Though Tanner wasn’t about to take that lying down, filling his lungs for one final attack.
“Fuck you, mom!” He screamed. “Why are you being such a bitch?!”
The echo bounced off every surface of the store. Only the sound of heads turning in their direction could be heard in the silence.
Turning red his mother started shaking with fury and then, started to cry.
Kayleigha went home that night with less respect for herself than when she entered Walmart that day. And Tanner left with a new gun.
